| 正面描述 | Draped bust of the goddess Tanit facing left, her hair elaborately dressed and bound with a wreath of grain or leaves, with loose curling locks falling behind the neck. The facial features are rendered in a Hellenistic style, with a straight profile, defined brow, and parted lips. A dotted border frames the design around the coin's circumference. |

Produced in the decades before the First Punic War, this series reflects Carthage's growing need for a fractional bronze currency to support military pay and commercial activity across its western Mediterranean holdings. Carthaginian bronze coinage of this period was struck at multiple mints — likely including Sardinia and Sicily alongside North Africa — making precise attribution of individual specimens genuinely difficult. The Copenhagen and Müller references group these pieces across a notable die range, and the MAA classification acknowledges the series' typological breadth.
