| Opis rewersu | A monumental triumphal arch depicted in three-quarter or frontal view, its frieze inscribed IOM (Iovi Optimo Maximo, to Jupiter Best and Greatest), celebrating Trajan's Dacian victories. Atop the tympanum stands the figure of Jupiter, while the arch is surmounted by a six-horse chariot (sextiugis) driven by two winged Victories, conveying themes of divine sanction and military triumph. The reverse legend S P Q R OPTIMO PRINCIPI appears in the field with the senatorial authority mark S C in exergue or field.
