In his right hand he carries a long spear held diagonally across the body, while his left hand grasps a large trophy. The figure is rendered in high relief with animated, dynamic posture conveying martial vigor. The senatorial authorization mark S C (Senatus Consultum) is placed prominently in the field to either side of the figure, left and right respectively. No exergual inscription is present. |
