| Obverse description | Laureate and draped bust of Titus facing right, rendered with strong portraiture typical of Flavian die-cutting. The effigy presents the future emperor as Caesar under his father Vespasian, with finely detailed laurel wreath and short beard. The surrounding legend runs clockwise from the lower left, naming Titus with his full imperial titulature. The bust is executed in high relief against a flat field, with the drapery visible at the shoulder truncation. |
