| Descrição do reverso | The god Mercury, wearing a winged petasus and depicted nude or semi-draped, is shown seated in three-quarter view to the left upon a rocky outcrop rendered in a stylized, scale-like pattern. He holds a caduceus upright in his right hand, the symbol of his divine office as messenger and patron of commerce. The flanking legends C and P appear in the field to either side of the figure, denoting Colonia Paterna, while the surrounding circular inscription names the Roman magistrates responsible for the issue.
