The composition fills the field with no border legend, the denomination letters flanking the central figure in a plain, unadorned field. The artistic style is characteristic of provincial Bosporan engraving, with schematic anatomy and bold relief. The flan is irregular and the strike slightly off-centre, as is typical for hammered copper issues of this series. |
