Beschrijving voorzijde Laureate bust of Nero facing left, rendered with fine detail including the characteristic portraiture of the emperor with a broad neck and youthful features. The effigy is depicted bare-shouldered, consistent with early sestertii of Nero's reign. The encircling legend runs from lower left around the periphery of the flan in bold Roman capitals. The portrait style reflects the classicizing aesthetic of the Neronian court workshops, with careful attention to the laureate wreath and facial modelling.

Beschrijving keerzijde Depiction of a monumental triumphal arch rendered in three-quarter perspective, showing the front face and left lateral side in considerable architectural detail. The arch is richly ornamented with relief sculpture, including statues of Mars and Pax flanking the structure, along with two standing soldiers. Atop the arch, the Emperor Nero is shown in a quadriga (four-horse chariot) accompanied by a winged Victory figure. The senatorial authorization mark S C (Senatus Consultum) appears prominently in the field. The composition is an ambitious attempt at spatial depth unusual for Roman imperial bronze coinage of the period.
