| Obverse description | Laureate bust of Nero facing right, wearing an aegis on the left shoulder, rendered in high relief with finely detailed hair and laurel wreath. The effigy displays the characteristic broad-necked, youthful portrait style associated with later Neronian coinage. A circular Latin legend runs along the full periphery of the obverse field. The portrait is bold and commanding, consistent with the official imperial iconography of the Julio-Claudian period. |
