| 裏面の説明 | Virtus, personification of military virtue and courage, stands facing left in martial attire, her right foot resting upon a helmet placed in the field before her. She holds a parazonium (short sword) in her left hand and an upright spear in her right. The reverse legend is distributed around the periphery, with the senatorial authority mark S C (Senatus Consultum) prominently placed in the lower field to either side of the figure, as was customary on aes coinage of the period. |
