| Beschrijving voorzijde | Diademed and bearded male head facing left, identified as King Syphax of the Masaesyli, rendered in a Hellenistic portrait style. The portrait occupies the central field of the flan, with the features showing a strong yet somewhat schematic modelling characteristic of Numidian bronze coinage of this period.
