| Beschrijving voorzijde | Bare-headed effigy of Emperor Nero facing right, rendered with characteristic youthful portraiture featuring curly hair and prominent features. A small globe is positioned at the base of the neck truncation, a distinctive iconographic element signifying universal dominion. The portrait is executed in high relief against a flat field, typical of Neronian bronze coinage. The encircling Latin legend reads IMP NERO CAESAR AVG PONTIF, distributed around the periphery of the flan. The overall die style reflects the refined engraving standards of the Rome mint workshop during the early Neronian period. |

| Opschrift voorzijde | IMP NERO CAESAR AVG PONTIF (Translation: Imperator Nero Caesar Augustus, Pontifex [Maximus]. Supreme commander (Imperator) Nero Caesar, emperor (Augustus), [high] priest.) |
| Beschrijving keerzijde | The personification of Roma is depicted seated left upon a cuirass, wearing a helmet and military dress, her figure rendered in the classical tradition of divine allegory. In her extended right hand she holds a wreath, while her left hand grasps a parazonium (short sword), emblems of victory and martial authority respectively. An array of arms and military trophies is arranged behind her in the field, underscoring the martial theme of the composition. The senatorial legend PONTIF MAX TR POT P P is inscribed around the periphery, with the authorizing mark S C (Senatus Consultum) prominently displayed in the field, confirming senatorial sanction for this bronze issue. The design is characteristic of the Neronian aes coinage produced at Rome under the monetary reform of AD 63. |
