| Descrizione del rovescio | Three sacerdotal emblems of augural and pontifical office are displayed prominently in the central field: a patera (libation dish) to the left, an urceus (jug or ewer) at center, and a lituus (curved augural staff) to the right. The arrangement reflects the religious authority of the issuing magistrate. The Latin legend L ACILIVS II VIR QVINQ AVG runs around the periphery within a beaded border, naming the co-duovir quinquennalis of the colony. The flan is irregular and the strike typical of Augustan-era Hispanic municipal bronze production. |
