A lituus (augural staff) is depicted to the left of the eagle. The coin is struck on an irregular flan with a beaded border encircling the type, characteristic of Hispano-Roman municipal bronze coinage. The Latin legend L IVNIVS II VIR QVIN AVG appears around the periphery, identifying the duovir quinquennalis responsible for the issue. |
