The magistrate name ΝΙΚΟΜΑΧΟΥ places administrative responsibility on a local official, a practice the Koinon maintained consistently across its Hadrianic bronze issues.
The BCD collection reference here is significant: the BCD Thessaly II hoard provided the most systematic die-study of these small bronzes yet undertaken, revealing that the Koinon produced them in short, controlled runs rather than sustained mint output.
