Obverse description Draped and veiled female head facing right, wearing a turreted crown, rendered in Hellenistic style typical of colonial Latin issues. The veil falls behind the neck in carefully incised parallel folds, framing the face with sculptural precision. The semis mark of value, S, appears in the left field behind the head. The portrait likely represents Tyche or a personification of the colony of Copia (Thurii), combining attributes of civic prosperity and divine protection.
