Flanking the central circle are upright rods or linear elements terminating in pellets, arranged symmetrically to either side. The upper field is decorated with a row of pellets forming an arc or beaded border. The overall composition is characteristic of Series E Porcupine sceattas, entirely aniconic and devoid of legend. |
