The field is further ornamented with groups of raised pellets distributed in the upper portions of each quadrant, a decorative device typical of Kotah Mint issues. The flan is irregular and slightly uneven, consistent with hand-hammered manufacture. The legends are deeply struck and prominent against the flat field, with no border or decorative rim evident. |
