| Descrizione del rovescio | Central field bears a multi-line Persian inscription in Arabic script, containing a portion of a traditional verse couplet (qit'a) used as a mint declaration: 'hokm shod az qadir be-chaun be-ahmad badshah sikka zin bar sim wa zar az auj mahi tabamah,' proclaiming divine sanction for the issuance of coinage in the name of Ahmad Shah. The lettering is hand-engraved and fills the coin's field in the manner typical of Mughal-derived princely-state rupee coinage, without a formal border or decorative frame. |
