| Obverse description | Central inscription in Persian script arranged in multiple lines within the field, reading the name and title of the ruler Ahmad Ali Khan with the honorific 'Nawab' below. The legend is hand-engraved in a style typical of late princely-state hammered coinage, with the text organized hierarchically: 'Ahmad' in the uppermost register, 'Ali Khan' beneath, and 'Nawab' to the lower left.
