Obverse description Right-facing draped bust of Peter II (Pyotr II) as a youth, depicted with long flowing hair adorned with a laurel wreath, wearing armour with an ornate sash and decorative breastplate. The effigy occupies the majority of the coin's field in high relief, rendered in the Baroque style characteristic of early 18th-century Russian imperial coinage. A circular Cyrillic legend surrounds the portrait, reading ПЕТРЬ II ИМПЕРАТОРЬ И САМОДЕРЖЕЦЬ ВСЕРОСIИСКИ, identifying the ruler as Emperor and Autocrat of All Russia. The mint mark СПБ (St. Petersburg) appears in the lower field. The obverse is bordered by a beaded inner rim.
