The eagle bears an elaborate shield on its breast charged with the St. George and dragon motif. In the right talon the eagle holds an orb and in the left a sceptre. A Cyrillic legend encircles the design along the periphery, with the denomination РУБЛЬ to the left and the word МОНЕТА to the right, and the date 1740 appearing at the top of the field. |
