| Reverse description | Imperial double-headed eagle displayed, with wings spread and each head bearing an imperial crown, holding orb and sceptre in its talons. At the centre of the eagle's breast is an escutcheon bearing the arms of Austria, surrounded by four quartered shields representing Hungary, Bohemia, Burgundy, and Burgau (Günzburg). The reverse legend in Latin encircles the design, and the date 1780 appears in the legend along with the mint mark X for Günzburg, consistent with the standard Maria Theresia Thaler type issued from that mint. |
