| Obverse description | Veiled draped bust of Lovisa Ulrika facing right, depicted in mourning attire with a flowing veil covering her head and shoulders, rendered in high relief with fine portrait detail characteristic of Fehrman's engraving style. The queen dowager wears a small crown partially visible beneath the veil. The engraver's initials CGF appear in small letters at the lower truncation of the bust. The circular Latin legend surrounds the portrait, reading LUD·ULRICA D·G·REG·SVECIAE·VIDUA·, identifying her as Queen of Sweden by the Grace of God and widow.
