| Beschrijving voorzijde | The quartered coat of arms of the County of Lippe occupies the central field, surmounted by an elaborate mantle crown with decorative scrollwork and foliate flourishes extending to either side. The shield displays the characteristic Lippe rose in the upper quarters and additional armorial charges in the lower quarters, all rendered in bold relief typical of late 17th-century German coinage. A circular Latin legend surrounds the entire composition, identifying the issuing ruler. |
