| Descrizione del dritto | Bare head of Octavian facing right, rendered in a naturalistic late Republican portrait style with fine engraving of hair swept forward over the brow. The effigy displays the sharp, youthful features characteristic of Octavian's pre-imperial portraiture. The legend CAESAR IMP VII is partially visible in the field, distributed around the portrait. The flan is irregular in shape, as typical of hammered silver coinage of this period. The overall style reflects the transitional artistic sensibility between the late Republic and the emerging Augustan visual program. |

| Descrizione del rovescio | Victory, draped, standing left, holding a wreath in her extended right hand and a palm branch in her left hand. She stands upon a cista mystica, the sacred basket associated with the Dionysiac mysteries, which is flanked by two coiled serpents rising on either side — a compositional motif referencing the former Antonian imagery now appropriated by Octavian to signal his triumph in the East. The reverse legend ASIA RECEPTA arcs around the design, proclaiming the recapture of the province of Asia following the defeat of Antony and Cleopatra. The overall composition is compact and well-balanced within the small module of the quinarius flan. |
