Obverse description Laureate head of Domitian facing right, with short hair and a strongly modeled profile characteristic of Flavian portraiture. The neck is slightly draped. The encircling legend reads IMP CAES DOMIT AVG GERM P M TR P VIIII, distributed around the periphery of the flan, with the inscription beginning at the lower left and running clockwise. The die work reflects the competent but sometimes hurried engraving style of the Rome Mint under the Flavians.

Reverse description Victory seated right on a throne or chair, her wings spread behind her. She holds a wreath or floral object extended in her right hand, while her left arm rests at her side or supports a palm branch. The figure is rendered in the classical Roman allegorical tradition, with drapery falling across her lower body. The surrounding legend IMP XXI COS XV CENS P P P runs along the inner border of the beaded rim, divided to either side of the central type.
