正面描述 Laureate bust of Emperor Trajan facing right, draped and cuirassed, rendered in the naturalistic portrait style characteristic of the Trajanic period. The emperor's features are sharply defined, with a strong jaw and close-cropped hair beneath the laurel wreath. The bust is set within a beaded border, with the imperial titulature legend running continuously around the periphery of the flan. The drapery over the left shoulder indicates a paludamentum fastened at the breast, conveying military authority. The die work is bold and competent, typical of the Rome mint's output during the Dacian War era.

背面描述 The goddess Victory advancing left, her wings spread behind her, holding a wreath extended in her right hand and a palm frond over her left shoulder. The figure is rendered in the striding, dynamic pose conventional for Victory types on Trajanic coinage, with flowing drapery clinging to the body in motion. The legend arcs around the upper field, divided to either side of the central figure, while the lower field is open. A beaded border frames the reverse. The type directly commemorates Trajan's conquest of Dacia, associating imperial military success with divine favour.
