Reverse description The reverse field carries a three-line Arabic Kufic inscription distributed across the full width of the coin's plain, unframed field. The upper two lines bear the second half of the shahada — 'Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah' — while the third line records the name of the issuing governor, Tamim ibn Zayd, identifying the coin's administrative authority in Sind. The script is consistent with the bold early Kufic style seen on the obverse, with characteristic angular letterforms and minimal interlinear spacing. The flan is irregular and slightly concave, as is typical of small hammered silver fractions from the Umayyad period in the Indus region. No mint name, date, or decorative border is present.
