Obverse description Obverse field displaying a stylized zoomorphic figure in the 'Horos type' tradition, commonly interpreted as a bird or mythological creature rendered in a highly schematic, flat-relief style characteristic of White Horde copper coinage. The design occupies the majority of the flan, with the figure's limbs and body rendered in bold, angular strokes. The irregular flan edge and coarse fabric are typical of hammered Central Asian pul issues of the late fourteenth century. Surface shows natural copper patination with areas of brown oxidation consistent with age and burial.
