| 裏面の説明 | A palm branch or ear of barley is depicted centrally, rising vertically from the lower field, with symmetrically arranged leaflets extending on either side — a motif closely associated with Judaean coinage of the period. Flanking the branch at the lower left and right are the Greek regnal date letters LΒ, denoting year 2 of Tiberius (15-16 AD). The flan is irregular and the strike crude, consistent with hammered bronze production at the Jerusalem mint under Prefect Valerius Gratus. |
