正面描述	A stylized palm tree occupies the center of the field, depicted with a tall trunk and spreading fronds rendered in a schematic, provincial style characteristic of Bar Kokhba coinage. The Hebrew legend is divided on either side of the tree trunk, reading YERUSHALAYIM (Jerusalem). The coin is struck on an irregular planchet with a somewhat uneven surface, typical of the hastily produced coinage of the revolt period.

The Hebrew legend surrounds the design in the field, reading LEHERUT YERUSHALAYIM (For the freedom of Jerusalem). The strike is characteristic of the crude but intentional workmanship of Bar Kokhba emergency coinage, often overstruck on earlier Roman provincial bronzes.
