| Reverse description | Double cornucopia (cornucopiae) depicted facing outward in mirror symmetry, their curved horns adorned with ribbon ties. A pomegranate, symbol of fertility and abundance in Judaean iconography, is shown between the two horn openings at the top. The design is rendered in low relief on a heavily worn and irregularly shaped flan, consistent with the crude workmanship characteristic of late Hasmonean bronze prutot. The field surrounding the type is plain. |
