Obverse description Central field depicts the Table of Showbread (shulchan ha-lechem ha-panim), shown as a low rectangular table with two stacked loaves of bread represented in schematic form, rendered in the crude but distinctive style typical of Hasmonean bronze coinage. A horizontal line separates the table surface from the legs below. The design is enclosed within a dotted border, with the Hebrew inscription occupying the surrounding field. The flan is irregular and the strike uneven, as characteristic of hand-struck Judaean bronzes of this period.
