| Opis rewersu | A tall, slender date palm tree dominates the center of the field, its fronds spreading symmetrically to either side in a stylized Hellenistic rendering characteristic of coins struck at Tyre. Control marks appear to the left and right of the palm trunk in the lower field, varying by subtype as catalogued under SC2 1676.1–1676.5. The Greek royal legend BAΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΔHMHTPIOY surrounds the design, though it is largely worn and partially legible on this example. |
