Beschrijving voorzijde Armored and draped bust of King Stefan Batory facing right, wearing an elaborate crown surmounted by a cross, with a bearded visage rendered in high relief characteristic of Renaissance hammered coinage. The king is depicted in richly detailed royal regalia, including ornate plate armor with decorative elements visible at the shoulder and chest. A beaded inner border frames the central effigy. The circumferential Latin legend reads STEPHAN D G REX POL M D L, identifying the ruler as Stefan by the Grace of God King of Poland and Grand Duke of Lithuania.

Beschrijving keerzijde Central quartered coat of arms of the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth displayed on an ornate cartouche surmounted by a royal crown. The shield is divided into four quarters bearing the White Eagle of Poland and the Pursuer (Pahonia) of Lithuania, with the Batory family device (three wolf's teeth) at the center on an escutcheon. The heraldic achievement is rendered in fine detail typical of late 16th-century Polish taler coinage. A beaded inner border surrounds the composition, with the circumferential Latin legend reading SAM LITV PRVS MAS RVSS, abbreviating the king's additional territorial titles including Samogitia, Livonia, Prussia, Masovia, and Ruthenia.
