Obverse description A stylized elephant depicted in profile facing left, rendered in a traditional Bruneian artistic style. The animal is shown with characteristic features including a raised trunk and visible tusks, set within a dotted circular border that frames the central design. The low-relief casting imparts a somewhat crude but distinctive appearance typical of Brunei tin-lead pitis coinage of this period.
