| Reverse description | The reverse presents the incuse, mirror-image impression of the obverse design, as is characteristic of the single-die hammered technique used for thin medieval pfennigs of this type. The ghosted relief shows the enthroned archiepiscopal figure in sunken form, with the surrounding beaded border partially visible on the irregular flan. Surface wear and die flow are consistent with a heavily circulated example of Friesach-type coinage from the late 13th to early 14th century. |
