Obverse description A jousting helmet (Stechhelm) depicted in the center, rendered in a flat, stylized manner characteristic of medieval Austrian bracteate-style coinage. The helmet is positioned above an arch terminating at each side in a rosette or foliate finial. A heraldic shield appears in the field to the right of the helmet. The design is uniface and struck on a thin, irregular flan with no surrounding legend.
