| Beschrijving voorzijde | Crudely struck irregular square flan bearing a schematized heraldic eagle in the field, rendered in low relief characteristic of late medieval Moravian bracteate-style pfennig coinage. The eagle motif, associated with the arms of Jobst of Moravia (Markgraf of Moravia), is depicted with spread wings and stylized feather detailing, occupying the majority of the central field. Below the eagle a curved arc or crescent-like element is visible, possibly representing a partial border or decorative device. The strike is weak in areas and the flan exhibits the typical irregularities and surface oxidation consistent with hammered medieval silver small coinage. No legible legend is present on this face. |

Jobst of Moravia — Margrave of Moravia and, briefly, Holy Roman Emperor-elect — pledged Brno and other Moravian cities repeatedly as collateral during his compulsive political maneuvering, leaving municipal governments to function with unusual fiscal autonomy during the early fifteenth century. Brno's right to strike small silver in this period reflects that fragmented authority directly.
