Reverse description The reverse presents a largely plain, slightly concave silver flan with minimal design detail, consistent with the uniface or near-uniface nature of this type of hammered medieval pfennig. Faint incuse traces of the obverse design are visible near the lower center, a natural consequence of the single-die hammering technique employed. The surface shows areas of corrosion, copper-colored oxidation patches, and minor encrustations typical of excavated or long-circulated medieval silver. No inscriptions, legends, or secondary devices are discernible on this face.
