| 裏面の説明 | Incuse mirror image of the obverse type, typical of the thin hammered bracteate-style pfennig coinage of the Bishopric of Basel. The facing episcopal bust wearing a mitre is visible in relief on the reverse as a pressed-through impression, with the flanking quatrefoil ornaments faintly discernible on either side. The flan edges show the characteristic four pinched indentations of the Basel pfennig series. The surface retains original silver metal with natural gray toning. |
