| Obverse description | Crude hammered bracteate-style obverse depicting a crowned bust facing, rendered in a flat, stylised manner characteristic of 13th-century Alpine pfennig coinage. The crown is prominently displayed above the head, with flanking devices on either side of the figure. The relief is shallow and the flan irregular, with a partially legible Latin legend arranged around the periphery. The overall design reflects the workshop traditions of the Friesach-type pfennig series issued under the Patriarchate of Aquileia. |
