Obverse description Facing bust of a bishop or ecclesiastical figure rendered in schematic medieval style, depicted with a mitre or stylized headdress. To the left, a key is shown suspended vertically, a characteristic attribute of Aquileian patriarchal coinage. A shield or heraldic device appears in the lower left field. The design is executed in bold, flat relief typical of early 13th-century Austrian hammered bracteate-related pfennigs, with an irregularly shaped flan and no border or legend.

Reverse description Frontal depiction of a seated or standing ecclesiastical figure, flanked on either side by two smaller standing figures or attendants rendered in a highly schematic, hieratic style. A small circular pellet or annulet appears at the top of the field above the central figure. The entire design is enclosed within a raised beaded or rope-like circular border. The flan has a squared-irregular form characteristic of hammered pfennigs from the Gutenwerth mint in Carniola.
