| Obverse description | A leaf cross displayed in low relief at the centre of the broadly flat field, its four arms terminating in stylised foliate tips characteristic of the Gothic Viennese pfennig tradition. The flan exhibits the irregular, pinched outline typical of hand-hammered bracteate-influenced small silver coinage of the mid-14th century. No legend or inscription is present; the design is purely emblematic. The die work is bold but shows natural striking weakness toward the periphery consistent with hand production. |
