Reverse description Central device consisting of the crowned arms of Monaco — a shield lozengy (fusilly) bendy of diamond shapes — surmounted by a princely crown with visible fleurons and arches, rendered in bold relief. The shield is cartouche-shaped with a waisted outline. The circular Latin legend AVXI. MEVM . A . DOM. 1720. encircles the design, reading 'My help comes from the Lord, 1720,' a pious motto referencing Psalm 121. Separating elements of the legend are decorative stops; the date 1720 appears in the lower portion of the legend. A beaded inner border frames the entire design.
