At her feet, a wheel — an attribute emblematic of her role as arbiter of fate — is rendered in low relief. The figure is well-centred on the flan, executed in the typical provincial die-cutting style of Marcianopolis under the governorship of Menophilus. The surrounding Greek legend names the city and its governor: VΠ MHNOΦIΛOV MAPKIANOΠOΛITΩN. |
