| Opis rewersu | A small cross pattée placed centrally within a beaded inner circle, forming the principal design element from which the type takes its name. The moneyer's name and mint signature are arranged around the periphery in two abbreviated segments separated by crosses or pellets, following the standard Anglo-Saxon two-line formula. The lettering is executed in the angular, somewhat compressed style typical of the Last Small Cross issue struck in the final years of Æthelred II's reign. |
