Obverse description Plain cross with a small circular void at the centre, dividing the field into four quadrants. A single pellet or bead is placed in each angle between the arms of the cross. The flan is irregular and the relief is low, consistent with medieval hammered billon coinage. No legend is present on this face.

Reverse description Three hammers arranged radially around the centre of the field, each rotated approximately 120 degrees from the next, forming a triskelion-like composition. A single pellet is placed between each pair of hammer heads, filling the intervening spaces. The hammers, emblematic of the Holstein mint at Sakskøbing, are rendered in a bold but roughly executed style typical of mid-14th century Danish billon pennies. No legend is present.
