| Descrizione del dritto | Crude hammered silver flan of irregular fabric, heavily worn and encrusted. A schematic bust or head of the bishop facing right occupies the central field, rendered in the rudimentary style typical of mid-thirteenth-century Utrecht ecclesiastical coinage. Partial Latin legend HENRICVS runs along the periphery, identifying the issuer as Henry of Vianden, Bishop of Utrecht (1250–1267). The die work is rough, consistent with provincial hammered coinage of this period, with portions of the legend weak or off-flan due to the irregular planchet. |

| Descrizione del rovescio | Plain hammered flan, heavily patinated and worn, displaying a schematic cross with four leaf- or vesica-shaped elements in the angles, a motif characteristic of Utrecht episcopal deniers of the mid-thirteenth century. The design is boldly if crudely struck, with the foliate or lozenge-shaped ornaments clearly visible between the arms of the cross. The peripheral Latin legend TRAIECTVM, identifying the mint city of Utrecht, runs around the coin, though portions are weak or missing due to the irregular flan and characteristic strike quality of this hammered issue. |
