REGENS, and the date 1811 appears in the lower exergual area below the truncation. The coin is bordered by a bold dentilated rim.

The circular peripheral legend UTILITATI PUBLICÆ surrounds the central device, and the entire design is framed by a finely dentilated rim consistent with a milled pattern strike.
